Abstract

ÀÚÀϸ®ÅçÀº ź¼Ò 5°³°¡ Àִ ź¼öÈ­¹°·Î Ä¡¾Æ¿ì½ÄÁõÀ» ¾ïÁ¦ÇÒ ¸ñÀûÀ¸·Î »ç¿ëµÇ´Â ÀÚ´ç ´ëü¹°ÀÌ´Ù. ±¸°­³» ¼¼±ÕÀÎ Streptococcus oralis¿Í Streptococcus salivariusÀÇ Áõ½Ä¿¡ ¹ÌÄ¡´Â ź¼öÈ­¹° ´Üµ¶ ¹× ÀÚÀϸ®Åç°úÀÇ º´ÇÕÀÛ¿ëÀ» °üÂûÇÏ¿© ´ÙÀ½°ú °°Àº °á°ú¸¦ ¾ò¾ú´Ù.
¹èÁöÀÇ ÀÚÀϸ®Åç ³óµµ°¡ Áõ°¡ÇÔ¿¡ µû¶ó Streptococcus oralis¿Í Streptococcus salivariusÀÇ Áõ½ÄÀÌ ¾ïÁ¦µÇ¾ú´Ù. ¾×ü¹èÁö¿¡¼­ Streptococcus oralisÀÇ ¹è¾ç 8½Ã°£ ¹è¾ç¾× Èí±¤µµ´Â À¯´ç ÷°¡½Ã 0.915, ÀÚ´ç ÷°¡½Ã 1.107À̾úÀ¸³ª, ÀÚÀϸ®ÅçÀ» º´ÇÕÇϸé À¯´ç ÷°¡½Ã 0.127, ÀÚ´ç ÷°¡½Ã 0.104À̾ú´Ù. ¾×ü¹èÁö¿¡¼­ Streptococcus salivariusÀÇ ¹è¾ç 8½Ã°£ ¹è¾ç¾× Èí±¤µµ´Â À¯´ç ÷°¡½Ã 1.550, °ú´ç ÷°¡½Ã 0.420À̾úÀ¸³ª, ÀÚÀϸ®ÅçÀ» º´ÇÕÇϸé À¯´ç ÷°¡½Ã 0.271, °ú´ç ÷°¡½Ã 0.905À̾ú´Ù.
ÀÌ»óÀÇ °á°ú´Â ź¼öÈ­¹°ÀÇ Á¾·ù¿Í ÀÚÀϸ®Åç°úÀÇ º´ÇÕ¿¡ µû¶ó Streptococcus oralis¿Í Streptococcus salivariusÀÇ Áõ½Ä Á¤µµ°¡ ´Þ¶ú´Ù.
Xylitol is a 5-carbons carbohydrate, which can be replaced with sucrose for preventing caries. The effect of car¡þbohydrates and their combinations with xylitol was studied for the replication of oral bacteria such as Streptococcus oralis and Streptococcus salivarius.
The replication of Streptococcus oralis and Streptococcus salivarius was inhibited according to the increased concentration of xylitol. When Streptococcus oralis was incubated for 8 hours in the media added with lactose or sucrose, the optical density was 0.915 and 1.107, repectively. while being 0.127 and 0.104. respectively in the media combined with xylitol. When Streptococcus salivarius was incubated for 8 hours in the media added with lactose or fructose, the optical density was 1.550 and 0.420, repectively. while being 0.271 and 0.905, respec¡þtively in the media combined with xylitol.
These results indicated that the replication of Streptococcus oralis and Streptococcus salivarius was changed according to kinds of carbohydrates and combined addition of xylitol.
